How ReFound works

ReFound brokers contact between a finder and an owner without either side losing their privacy. Here is the full path, end to end.

   Owner

   Sign up and register an item. Pick a safe public label and choose what a finder may see.

   System

   We mint a unique, unguessable code and produce a QR tag containing only a link.

   Owner

   Attach the tag — pet collar, ID card, windshield, luggage, keyring.

   Finder

   Scans the tag and lands on a safe page scoped to that item type.

   Finder

   Sends a message, shares where they found it, or requests a call — never seeing your details.

   Owner

   Gets an alert with the safe details and a map link if shared. Reconnect and recover.
